BARCELONA SPANISH VILLAGE & CITY CENTRE

Upon entering Barcelona you will soon see the beautiful Spain Square (Plaça Espanya). Located at Montjuïc, Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) is one of Barcelona’s biggest attractions. Particularly impressive is the fascinating blend of Spanish architecture in the village, with replicas of 117 different buildings from all around Spain. Equally striking is the Museum with works of Dalí, Miró and Picasso. In addition, in the village there are more than 20 craft workshops, where you can watch the artisans at work. These make Poble Espanyol a truly unique place to shop. Last but not least, there is no shortage of bars and restaurants where you can sit outside on one of the terraces.

After our visit to the Spanish Village, we´ll drive past the OIympic Stadium on our way to the city centre and if possible we make a quick stop at Montjuïc, Barcelona’s broad shallow hill overlooking the harbour and the city centre, after which we’ll drop you off in the city centre of Barcelona for you to enjoy your free time (± 3,5/4 hours). You can choose to stroll along the Ramblas with its famous living statues and various stalls of flowers or to walk around the Plaza Catalunya or the Gothic Quarter with its Cathedral of Santa Eulalia and the many side streets with plenty of shops and markets.
